FACEBOOK MESSENGER GAMES

Facebook Messenger games are lightweight, instantly playable games built directly into the Messenger platform, designed for quick, casual fun without needing to download anything. They include classics like basketball and soccer mini-games triggered by emoji, as well as a wider catalog of arcade-style titles available through the “Instant Games” feature. These games let users challenge friends, compete on leader boards, and share scores right inside chat threads, making them a social, fast, and interactive way to play.

As a UI artist for this project I worked on the following games for the platform:

UI ART WORK

I designed the UI art for several Facebook Messenger games including; Poker Lounge Live, Lab Coats, Exploding Kittens, Spyfall, Crossword Party!, and Ready, Set, Cook! Creating visually distinct interfaces that remained cohesive within the Messenger ecosystem. My work focused on delivering bold, readable layouts optimized for small-screen, chat-embedded play, while crafting unique visual identities that reflected each game’s tone and mechanics. From polished, atmospheric elements in Poker Lounge Live to the playful chaos of Exploding Kittens and the bright, inviting aesthetic of Ready, Set, Cook!, each UI direction balanced clarity, personality, and instant recognizability. The result is a suite of user-friendly, expressive designs that elevate quick, social gameplay.
